Provenance & Authenticity
The artworks offered through WLP are original designs created by Marcus Campbell, first released between 2015 and 2022 as part of an early body of work.
These works were conceived, developed and published independently, and have been produced exclusively as authorised editions. Ownership of copyright remains with the artist at all times.
Over time, elements of this imagery have been widely reproduced without permission. For this reason, clarity around provenance and authorship is an important part of how original works are identified and preserved.
Original Works
Each artwork originates from a defined period of creation and forms part of a documented catalogue of original designs.
Only works produced and distributed through authorised channels are considered authentic WLP art editions.
Editions & Authorship
Original works are issued as authorised editions. While formats, sizes, and production methods may vary, the underlying artwork remains unchanged and originates from the artist’s original source files.
Reproductions sold without authorisation, licence or attribution are not considered genuine.
Certificates of Authenticity
At present, certificates of authenticity are not issued for all works.
A formal system for documenting and verifying provenance is in development. Once introduced, it will apply to selected works and editions going forward, with further details made available in due course.
Our Approach
Provenance is not presented as a marketing device, but as a matter of record.
This page exists to document authorship, establish chronology, and provide clarity for collectors and customers who value originality, authorship and integrity of source.
